The general objective of the IOTEC project is to generate a network of scientific and technological actors in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT) between the regions of Castile and León and Central Portugal, this will allow to:

Foster the specialization of researchers in IoT, generate knowledge in this area and promote the processes of technology transfer. Also, to provide researchers with better conditions for the generation of knowledge.

Assist factories, focusing specifically on two parts: SMEs working in the ICT field; and innovative industrial SMEs.

Create an interregional plan of action in R&D and generate a highly qualified ecosystem for future IoT projects, providing added value as well as promotion and diffusion activities in IoT technologies.
